We are a very friendly group with a range of knowledge and interest in all aspects of military history ranging from beginners to experts. Members or visitors give a talk or we might watch a film and discuss it. Recent topics have included: The Fortification of Malta, what really happened when the Lusitania sunk, Second World War News 1939-40 as filmed by the Nazis and The Commonwealth War Graves. Members have also shared family letters, diaries and history.

We are open to anyone, if you want to make a one-off visit, there is no obligation to keep attending although of course we welcome regular members too.

Wine, soft drinks and nibbles are provided and we ask a small charge to cover these and the hall hire.

Queries can be sent via the Contact page to the Overall Groups Coordinator who will pass your query on to Sarah.
